Hi! I love your poem 'Scared'. The repetition is perfect. The way each thought, each sentence, exhibits a strength from someone wronged, is BEAUTIFUL.
ReplyDeleteKeep writing ❤️
Thank you so much! You have no idea how much this means!
Deletei really liked the line breaks in the poem hussain
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteThe poem “Hindustan” has a great ring to it, but towards the end I thought there would be something more to it. I don’t what more. The play with names seems just right and really brings out the problem of religion identity. Very well.
ReplyDeleteThe repetition in the poem did not work for me. The repetition of the waiting just became annoying after the third time, unless that is what you intended to do.
The poem Hussain really debugged the idea that surrounds Muharram. Thank you for writing this poem. If hussain could see how Muharram is celebrated how, he would kill himself right away. Haha! Good job.
Thank you so much for your input! I will work on it. And, when I had to choose a historical figure, I knew it had to be Hussain, it frustrates me to the core, to see what Muharram has been reduced to by a lot of people, and I just wanted to find a way to remind people of his purpose.
